Aldermarsh is situated on the edge of a beautiful wetlands in the Maxwelton Valley at the south end of Whidbey Island. The wooded 5 acre facility is a human-created space integrated within its natural setting where community, collaboration and sustainability thrive. Aldermarsh is dedicated to supporting soul and earth based practices and teachings and hosts a variety of retreat groups and workshops every year including writing, mediation, yoga, Authentic Movement, 5Rhythms, plant wisdom, and more. We host programs and retreats for individuals, groups, and organizations who share our commitment to listen deeply, witness self and other, and respectfully steward Earth and human communities in sustainable ways.

Aldermarsh is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a volunteer-led board. Our inspiration and guidance comes from the spirits of the land, our hearts, and our interconnection with self and other. Community support is essential for the long-term sustainability of Aldermarsh and we bow with gratitude for all those who give generously of their hearts, time, and money. We invite you to share with us in the stewardship of this magical place through any number of ways including labors of love on the land on our community service days, volunteering in the garden, giving in-kind donations of labor and/or materials for capital projects, and making monetary donations. If you are interested in donating, please contact us at aldermarsh@gmail.com.
